Famous Bollywood director Karsanjay Laila Bhansali’s film ‘Gangubai Kathiawari’ was in controversy even before its release. Gangubai’s family had also tried to release the film.
Details of the compensation taken by Bollywood actresses Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in the film Gangu Bai Kathiawari have come to light. Famous Bollywood director Karsanjay Laila Bhansali’s film ‘Gangubai Kathiawari’ was in controversy even before its release. Gangubai’s family had also tried to release the film. ‘Gangobai Kathia Wari’ was released in the last few days which has done a business of more than 100 crores so far while performing brilliantly at the global box office. According to Indian media, Alia Bhatt has been paid a whopping Rs 200 million (approximately Rs 465 million) for the film. Ajay Devgn also gave a cameo in Gangubai Kathiawari, he played the role of Rahim Lala, the person who brought Gangubai to great power. Ajay Devgn allegedly paid a total of INR 11 crore (approximately PKR 250 million) for this brief role. It should be noted that Gangubai Kathiawari is a documentary crime drama based on Hussain Zaidi’s book “Mafia Queens of Mumbai”. Apart from Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, the film also stars Parth Smith, Shantanu Maheshwari and Seema Pahwa. Gangubai Kathiawari is produced by Jainti Lal Gadda. The film tells the story of a woman named Ganga, played by Alia, who becomes a madam named Gangubai in the red light area of Kamathipura. She came to power while fighting. After the success of Gangubai Kathiawari, Alia Bhatt will be seen in the next film “RRR” with junior NTR, Ram Charan and Ajay Devgn.
